Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions

Imagine your guests surrounded by native stone, wild flowers, and artwork. Dine inside, under the moon, in our exhibit space and then dance the night away under the glowing lights of the 60 foot glass atrium. Guests of all ages will have fun exploring the interactive exhibits.  Whether you want to host a ceremony for 50 people or a reception for 250, we are able to provide a variety of venue options.

Meetings & Presentations

The Flint Hills Discovery Center’s meeting rooms are full of natural light and just steps away from the Rooftop Terrace for breaks. Our meeting rooms offer a fresh alternative for your next retreat, staff training or educational event. Flint Hills Discovery Center rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi, AV and recycling. Out of town participants have several hotel options adjacent to the Center.

Birthday Parties

It will be a birthday your child will always remember!  Our private rooms are available by the hour during the day and after hours to celebrate any age. 

Birthday Party Package for $250- Let us take care of everything with the Birthday Party Package. Celebrate in a private room next to the children’s play area. We will supply cake, ice cream, exhibit passes and a staff member to lead activities. The only thing left to do is invite their friends! 

Discovery Package for $150- The Discovery Package is an alternative for those who wish to plan their own party. Appropriate for any age, it’s perfect with a private room and discounted passes. You bring the cake!

Celebrations & Social Events

We have hosted all kinds of events and would love to host yours! Host a military formal or fraternity/sorority party with us and "wow" your guests. Celebrate someone special with a bridal or baby shower in one of our private rooms.  Gather your friends and family for a rehearsal dinner or graduation party in one of our unique venues.  Plan your conference Welcome Reception at the Discovery Center in conjunction with your event at the nearby convention center or K-State's campus.
