Ground was broken on July 7, 2010 and the foundation structures
were completed in November. The exterior of the facility
finishes in May of 2011, and the structure is complete by
October 2011. The exhibits begin fabrication in the spring of
2011 and are installed through the winter into March 2012. The
Flint Hills Discovery Center will open to the public in April
2012.
