The Flint Hills Discovery Center is on target to open to the
public in mid-April 2012, and a great number of small groups and
large organizations anticipate use our terraces, multi-purpose
rooms and magnificent entryway and rotunda for their upcoming
special events and meetings.

Our 35,000 square-foot facility with its unique, elegant and
functional spaces can accommodate day and evening events
throughout the week and on weekends. Here’s what we’re planning:

Still a work in progress, the three-story facility at 315 S.
Third Street in Manhattan, KS.
 will soon be adorned with native
plants from the Flint Hills region of Kansas, creating an
extraordinary atmosphere on the terraces on the second and third
floors for weddings, parties and other special events. Our
spacious multi-purpose rooms benefit from either the view of the
terrace or the Blue Earth Plaza Park three levels below, and are
equipped with projector screens and related AV equipment. For
larger events we offer the use of the whole facility or the
first floor with a spectacular glass cylindrical entryway
leading into the Discovery Center’s impressive rotunda.
