How People Make Things celebrates the people, the manufacturing processes and the technology used to make everyday objects in our world. It tells the story of how familiar childhood objects are made and how people, ideas, and technology transform raw materials into finished products. Kids can try firsthand the tools and processes used to make every day objects in an immersive play factory environment.

Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed

This exhibit explores the bones and fossils belonging to the giant creatures that once roamed the Earth.

View and even touch six full dinosaur skeletal molds including a Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Velociraptor. Stand next to a 6-foot-1 Apatosaurus femur and use paleontology tools to unearth ancient dinosaur bones.

Build rockets and paper airplanes, then test them for distance and air-dexterity. Launch your rocket to Saturn, your plane to Sydney, or learn about a career at NASA!
