During this unique event, six humanities scholars from a wide variety of disciplines will present their personal and professional take on the Flint Hills landscape for participants as they hike through a native tallgrass prairie outside Manhattan at the Konza Prairie. Each 10-minute-long presentation from individuals as diverse as archaeologists, poets, historians, and indigenous knowledge keepers, will invite participants to reflect on their place on the prairie while in a native prairie setting.
