On the way to Hays, we will stop in Salina at Ad Astra Books & Coffee House to grab a local drink and stretch our legs.

At the Sternberg Museum of Natural History, we will tour their famous "fish within a fish" fossil and the galleries filled with life-size dinosaurs! They house over three million paleontology, zoology, and geology specimens that document life and environments in the Great Plains region of North America! Look inside a specimen by viewing over 60 x-rays and CT images! Complete a fully guided tour of the exhibits and find out what it takes to build a collection of fossils!

Finally, we will finish our time in Hays at Defiance Brewery for a late lunch.

Registration fee includes round trip travel in our 15 passenger vans and admission into the Sternberg Museum of Natural History. All other expenses are the responsibility of the participant. Tour leaves the Flint Hills Discovery Center at 8:30 a.m. and returns no later than 5:30 p.m. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
