Parents, bring your littles to the outdoor classroom and build your skills to raise a nature lover. Play games, hear stories, and explore natural items through the use of your five senses. Pre-registration is required in the adult's name online, by phone at 785-587-2726, or in-person at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. An adult must accompany all children. This class is limited to 12 adults. Please wear sun protection and bring your refillable water bottles. Come prepared for all-weather outdoor learning. In the event of severe weather, Nature Together will be moved indoors at the Discovery Center. Come prepared to get a little dirty, learn about nature, and be a role model in the outdoors for your child!

Nature Together is free for fall 2022 thanks to generous funding from the Beach Family Foundation.  

Class runs 9-10 a.m. Each session is repeated twice, on a Friday and Saturday, to give everyone a chance to participate. Pre-registration is required online, by phone at 785-587-2726, or in-person at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. Registration opens Monday, August 15 at 8 a.m.
